Preservation methods we perform
The method code on your requirement drives the materials, the barrier and the closure. These are the methods we run routinely.

Protection for favorable known conditions of shipment, handling and storage, using lighter specification containers where the packaging data allows.

Commercial / minimal
ASTM D3951 commercial packing when the contract permits it — still marked and documented to DoD requirements.

Containers & export
Crates and unit loads built for the trip, not the dock
Overseas and long-term-storage shipments fail at the container more often than at the unit pack. We build wood boxes and crates to the applicable ASTM standard, use ISPM 15 heat-treated lumber for export, and block, brace and anchor contents so the load arrives as it left.
